Assets versus liabilities in the USA-Scary future-Ocuppy Washington

If you really want to know where we are in this country and how crazy, out of touch and irresponsible politicians have been with our future just go to the Treasury Department's website and look for Fms.treas.gov/frsummary/frsummary2010.pdf . It will blow your mind how deep in the whole we really are, as well as how much of actual financial reality is being hidden from us and not made available to the public. Europe, long terms does not look that bad, boy the Chinese must be laughing as they lend us more with a shovel in their hands. The shift must come we all need to become leaders because the current group is too corrupt and has been bought off a long time ago. We cannot afford to have the current establishment running this game, if we want to continue to have a game.

We are going to be forced into living simple and self reliant lives.

I believe that we are in a period of very little growth that will last maybe ten to fifteen years. We are de leveraging mountains of government and personal debt. At the same time we are making a slow transition to a sustainable economy and living model. During these times we will see lower levels of consumptions on the basics and less spending in the unnecessary. Prices of food and energy are predicted to go higher. As a consequence we are going to have to live less dependent lifestyles. It sounds painful but the more I think about it could end up being the other way around, this current model the one we are living now being the painful one and the simple and self reliant a more happy one. Lets see but no doubt the shift is almost here.

The repetition machine and the imitator is dead, Creativity is the new killer app

The system is not working, which system? the government, the financial system, the system of consumption, etc. Why? because we are stuck in rotting spin of repeating the same old behaviors and actions in a very efficient manner. The only problem is that the composition of these behaviors are reinforcing a system that no longer works. So how do we create a change? I think it is about having the courage to start creating on a personal level as well as at a

societal level. Of course there is a small group of people and powers to be that want the game to stay the same but the majority of us know the system is broken. Lets recreate a new us, with new behaviors, believes, new agreements and actions which will eventually create a system that may work for lots of us. It is about creativity, innovation and not be a repetition machine and an imitator of what does not work. The W3.

Default planet-Default nation

It seems that we are moving into a global scenario of a default planet in which the whole world is in such debt that growth will not be part of our experience for some time. I continue to believe that we are creating a political class that is irresponsible and debt addicts. The US political system is broken like it is in most of the world. Lets kick them out and send them to live among us in reality. It is time to tare down the walls and create another game that works for all of us. I say lets start sending them to jail, lets criminalize politics. Many are asking for the heads of Wall Street players, why not congress and Presidents? Game over-Default nation.

What an exciting time to be alive

It is a fascinating time to be alive. The traditional is no longer applicable, the logic and rational is falling apart. No matter how much the status quo tries to make it work the framework is melting. The economic system cannot grow, Politics is rotten even in the best of circumstances. Dictatorial systems are really having a hard time being centralize, oppressive and stopping the flow of conversations and information. It is not a good time to be a dictator nor a close end system of any kind. There is only one thing to do and that is to create a new way of living, new systems and a new happiness. This is wonderful. This means will need to create our own visions and live in them. Forget the experts and the establishment-Time to follow our own inner voices and leap for the new, from the more practical point of view, the traditional is no longer profitable and fun-it has gone stale. A new political class is needed-Public servants not self servants

At a global scale there is an urgent need for a new political paradigm. The current class is simply not capable and not responsible nor evolved enough take this planet in the direction that is need to avoid a collapse. This current political class is not conscious of the real issues nor are they humble enough to realize the extent of the damage being inflected on society and the world by their lack of responsibility, arrogance and their child like behavior. The time as come for us to restructure and create a political class that is composed by public servants and not self servants. Vote, donate and kick them out with your brain and not with your denial and comfort.W3

The New paradigm emerging even in traditional media

Today's( September 12th)The Wall Street Journal has a section on the Environment. It is actually pretty good. It is focus on the creation of greener cities. As you read it so can sense the creation of a new urban living model that is slowly emerging out of the ruins of our current toxic and wasteful paradigm. This is occurring while most of the world is still trying to squeeze a drop of efficiency out of business and living models that longer works. If you do not believe me have you checked out recently the Financial system, wow talk about a racket that only works for five guys. Time to move on to the next game, because this one has hit the wall. I believe there are tremendous opportunities in the next phase it just takes some faith in the human race.

America's and China's downfall could be through our mouths

I watched the Documentary "Knives and Forks". It is a very powerful film. It show how food is the weak link in American society and how we are destroying ourselves by eating mountains of junk food and animal based products. The Chinese are now starting to copy us and they have joined the obesity and chronic disease fest. It is amazing the current level of denial that we are living in, 40% of Americans are obese. Health care will sink America. To the obesity epidemic we need to add the fast growing aging population in the USA and in the rest of the planet.We now spend on health care then defense. Another great documentary to watch is "Food Inc". We really have to be very self reliant because we are surround with tons of mis leading concepts, lies and big corporate interest focused on their short term interest and not on our own long term health. The global economy fact or fiction?

Have the economies of the first world been growing in the last ten years or is it a debt illusion, meaning no growth all debt, question? fiction or nonfiction? I say fiction. It has been in it's majority a big Pyramid of debt creating the perception of progress but the reality has been all about economic destruction, the sacrifice of many generations and severe damage to the ecology of the planet.

The gaming of our lives

Last night I could not sleep. I started reading a book called "Play: How It Shapes The Brain, Opens the Imagination and Invigorates The Soul" by Stuart Brown and Christopher Vaughan. It is an incredible book. It gave me a sense of relief and tranquility as a started to look at life in the context of a big universal game. In my case it released lots of tension and brought back fun and adventure to my life just by thinking about it. A year ago I also read "Reality is Broken" by Jane Mcgonical, a cutting edge book on why gaming and play is the new human killer app and how gaming/play is becoming very visible in many of our everyday activities, entertainment and new business models being created.So I started this morning to turn my activities and specially those that I consider hard and boring to do into a game, my whole outlook has started to changes. I am going to game myself into a personal reinvention and expanded outwardly to the rest of the planet. Enjoy, play hard and please do not take your self serious it just a game-W3

Steve Jobs what a cool New paradigm visionary

I think Steve Jobs is one the most important figures in this century. He has really added to our lives in a significant way, including jobs. A purely proactive visionary willing to bet the farm on his instincts. He does not compromise with mediocrity. He excepts the extraordinary. We all need to do the same, except the extraordinary, just imagine what we would be and what the planet would turn into. I think it would be extraordinary. I have read two very good books on Jobs which I highly recommend " Inside Steve's Brain" and "The Steve Jobs Way" enjoy.

The system is clogged -Washington is the Mecca

I was in Washington last week. A beautiful city, great architecture, lost of culture and the people were very nice. But you can feel the bureaucracy and the debt base living. The politician and business groups fighting like hell to keep the old game of debt going. It supports great buildings and lots of people passing papers to each without much value add to society. It must a very small group that benefits from such paradigm while the rest is collapsing. It is time to visit Washington and feel and experience the clogging of America.

The end of growth

The economy continues to show signs of not being able to stabilize and get out of the current recession model. Companies are showing positive revenues but the unemployed continues to be significantly high. What is going on? are we entering in unchartered territory? I just read a book that could start to answer some of these questions. It is "The End of Growth" by Richard Heinberg. The biggest global disruption to our lives

We are getting close to the biggest global disruption probably ever seen on this planet. The earth is moving away from a paradigm of cheap energy to a model of very expensive energy and in some cases scarcity. Imagine the implications to our lives. How about the consequences to the geopolitical dynamics. We need to get read and make sure we are not caught by surprise. We are in denial lets wake up. This current model is gone, it is shift time into World 3.0.

Energy the new World war III

I read an article this morning about the tensions developing between China and Southeast Asia over oil exploration and drilling. The supply of oil is starting to diminish in a significant manner on this planet and demand is starting increase drastically. The consequence we are going to see see more wars related to oil. Only way out is to commit to alternative sources of energy and move into a sustainable paradigm which we seem to have an issue committing to, related to many powerful energy groups blocking the way, like maybe oil companies, Car manufactures and congress people which have been bought with campain contributions, maybe. Machines better than humans?

In a ruthless world like ours would machines do a better job then us? The technology for gathering data and analyzed it is really becoming cutting edge. We can now measure our behaviors and most of human activities.Given us the opportunity to better differentiate between perception and facts while giving us a more accurate sense of our progress and what works and what does not. Machines are becoming more and more sophisticated, we are becoming more and more barbaric. So would machines do a better a job of managing this planet? I am confused and contemplating. But there is no doubt that machines are and will be a very important part of our future and the New global paradigm-W3.0

Global leaders in the dark

The global leadership is flying blind. They are pretending like they know. That is the global truth. What do we do? we go along pretending like we believe that they know what they are doing. It makes us feel safe giving them the keys to the globe and to our destines.It also covers up our lack of responsibility and our entertained passivity while the place goes down in flames. All that said I must give credit to those leaders that are taking us toward the black hole of destruction at least they are taking responsibility to lead. Is democracy over?

It seems like the world is being run by a series of small groups with very specific interest. As we look around this dynamic seems to playing in China, Latin America, Russia, the Arab countries, etc. But the real question is what is going on here in the United States? is our decline due to deterioration of our democracy? Is this country becoming like Russia, Latin America but done in a more sophisticated and masterful manner. Its seems that the US political system congress has become very parochial and subservient to interest groups. We are focusing only on the short term, about two years right on time for the election. The United States is slowly collapsing before our eyes. We need to have the vision and fortitude to create a shift paradigm in important areas like alternative energies, health(wellness/preventive/stop the junk food eating-obesity), living within our means(reduce our debt-stop taking easy and cheap chinese money), really focus on creativity and innovation through a different education and how about reforming our campaign laws so money is not the only factor determining the results-come on are we going to let the boat sink that easy?
