People taking matters into their own hands to defend themselves mostly against the Mexican Cartels. They feel that government is not there for them. I see this as a possible  warning for what could come at larger scale.

This is a very surprising book. It is a mixture of science fiction, a chase, tech, hacking and really cool spirituality. It is a great read with a very powerful message embedded within a fascinating  high tech hack the status quo  story. I had never read Ted Dekker. I looking to read another book of his. The Cuba Show

The opening of Cuba seems all about more tourism, legacy building for Obama and regime support. Not much in terms of political and economic freedom. There have been more then 3,000 politically motivated arrests in Cuba since Obama announced the opening of relationships with this regime. The Cuban government has thousands of political prisoners, economic control by one family and severe violations of human rights. This opening was a great opportunity to put in motion very important changes for the Cuban people. At the moment the only beneficiaries are Obama, a legacy play and the Cuban regime being propped up to continue the current model of repression and corruption. Please do not confuse this political move as having benefits for the people of Cuban. This strategy will prove that an opening without accountability will bring about the same results as the embargo. We need to stop using people for political gain. It is going to blow up in our faces at a global scale.

The new big global demographic shift-The planet is getting older.

There is big demographic Tsunami about to hit the planet. It is the shift towards an aging population. It is a global, political, social and economic game changer. The ramification in terms of health care is significant. The ramification for the family is more serious. It is an issue that is hard to tackle because we have a hard time dealing with our own aging and death.  It is a population segment that most people do not what to acknowledge nor serve. I have always wondered why more entrepreneur are not trying to exploit is extraordinary global opportunity. I think that has to do with what I just mentioned before the denial of our own aging. Yes, there are many ways to start to solve the many problems this challenge will bring to us. A good place to start is to change our perception of how we relate to aging and to people that are getting older. I would like to change how we call somebody that is not young; a person that is above sixty years old I will call from now on a "wise” person. Now we need to make being "wise" very cool, admired and respected like it is in Okinawa, Japan were people live the longest in the world. Maybe being young is over rated.

Angry imitators

I wonder if many of the big the problems on this planet have to do with people not honoring their greatness,uniqueness and creativity. We go out into the world looking to fit into other people's game while ignoring our game and who we are. It is a form of personal dis respect which creates anger, hopelessness and the feeling of being out of control. I think this dynamic turns us into angry imitators  and traitors of your own being.  Making the world into series of repetitive errors since everybody is just repeating the old stuff that others are doing. Few of us have the courage to fail at the expense of our own uniqueness. Our failures are imitations. Maybe that is why the world does not seem to change that much. This is  a personal reflection on my own tendency to imitate.

Is there a relationship between lack of creativity and corruption?

 I have the hunch that feeling un creative is the reason why there is so much corruption on this planet. People that feel that they can't create have to take. This of course relates mostly to highly driven and ambitious people. Is it an issue of creative low self esteem? They do not trust there ability to create value in the world so they resort to taking, stealing, etc as a way of expressing themselves and getting what they want. Creativity is a source inner worth. It is the closes human quality to Universal energy, God, Shiva whatever one wants to call it. This is just a thought with potentially big implications.

Terrorism what are we going to do about it? maybe stop supporting the regimes that creates them?

I believe we have two options either exterminate them completely which I think is almost impossible or we stop supporting the regimes that create the despair and lack of hope that turns terrorism, death and being a  suicide bomber into an attractive option.  I vote for number two.The middle East is controlled  mostly by a few ruthless families and groups  that do not seem to be interested  in giving their people a life worth living. I would say we start by getting ride of them first so this region can flourish, become democratic,  open and economically fair.  Another interesting point is that some of these countries that are creating the appropriate  environment for the growth of terrorism are also financing them, probably with the money we pay for their oil. We are stuck in a stupid, dangerous and expensive cycle. I believe  extremist are  a small portion of the overall Muslim population but extremely angry, poor and with no hope of a quasi decent life. If the right and humane conditions are created these groups will have no reason for being. I agree that this could be naive of me. But one thing is for sure what we are doing now is not working.

Taxing the rich, Come on Man stop it

Taxing the rich is just a cliche. It does not make any sense. You cannot take way  through taxation the incentives to invest and create jobs from those that create the real wealth in this country. If one  continues raise taxes on the rich and the productive the will leave, think france. I believe the first  move government ought to do is to  stop wasting our money through all these pork projects, bureaucracy, useless wars, blowed government, etc and use all those dollars to give the middle class and lower classes the relief, infrastructure , health care and education needed to really advance and become the rich. We have to stop pimping the poor  and the middle class for political points, come man stop it.

A low self esteem planet: we let corrupt regimes steal the world assets with no consequences.

Government after  government, regime after regime in most of the world is the business of making money for themselves and their friend becoming extraordinarily rich. We all know it but yet we act like it is not happening hoping the next group of character that move into the presidential palace will not steal as much and they steal even more. The population of most countries sit their and watch this show over and over  without much  action no consequences to perpetrators. It is like a city where murder is not punished, imagine. Latin American has pretty been stolen in last 30 years so is the majority of the third world. How about Russia, the Arab world, etc. It is amazing to me the levels of corruption on this planet  no punishment. How about at least returning the stolen asset? Why not at least chase them down and have then return the money. It would create a precedent and the fear of severe consequence for future governments. We need a global group therapy to figure out why we permit such atrocities in total silence. Imagine a world without corruption.

The untapped power of the brain-"Limitless" and "Lucy"

Two films “Limitless” and “Lucy”, which  were not box office hits, have intrigued me. I really liked both films to the point that I have seen them several times.  These two films deal with characters that take voluntarily or involuntarily substances that permit them to tap into 100% of the brains potential and what happens when they do. I thought about my interested and attraction to this subject matter? I realized that it's my desire to figure out a way to expand my own levels of consciousness, talents and overall potential. I feel like we are all stuck in a low gear and that there is a lot more to be accesses in terms of our humanity and potential but the path is not quit clear on how to go about it in a relevant time. I wonder if in our lifetime will we be able to reach the full capacity of our brainpower through a combination of inner transformative work, physical and  mental exercises and the help of non-harmful drugs/supplements. In meantime we are left with watching "Limitless" and "Lucy" which helps me continue to explore and imagine the possibility of this reality becoming true.

Bye bye Dictators may oil prices continue downward

I hope the price per barrel of oil reaches $20. I would like to see those highly corrupt oil dependent regimes brought down to their knees and back to reality. Their friends and allies like governments, financial players and business groups that have partner up with these regimes in the destruction of countries, people lives and their futures must also go down in flames. I would like start by hoping that one of the first to fall is Venezuela which is not a government but a a gang. It is time for justice and may Oil prices be the judge. I have another in mind. It start with an R.

The new technology of Money

I am so excited by the new money technology appearing on the market. These technologies  will make money decentralize  cutting out the middle man. Money will be B2B. In this new exciting paradigm the individual will the control  his money and his transactions not the banks and not the governments. I did not agree with his politics but I admired his courage and commitment to his believes and political views. It is rare to experience the life of such a person and especial now where no body believes in any thing other then there own accumulation of power. He was a great being. May he rest in peace and may his legacy continue to be a great example to all of us. We need to millions of Mandela's to save this planet. Thank you.

Is it dangerous to become to civilized?

In a world that is becoming more and more barbaric is it dangerous to become too civilized? The reason why I ask this question is because I think that those that become highly civilized lose their ability to defend themselves from barbaric behaviors in the forms of governments, organize/interest groups, corporations, people, etc. Which makes me wonder if being taught to become a good moral civilized citizen is a form of control while those in power do not abide by the rules of the so called civilized society. Just look around the world and tell me what you see. It is just a question to contemplate.

The government has been shot down for a year now-Imagine?

After a year people have given up on any kind of help, assistance and protection. A small part of the government is still functioning: law enforcement, certain government backed health care operations like the VA hospitals. The rest is up the people to figure out. For the first six months there was a sense of despair, fear, disappoint and hopelessness. In the last three-months people attitude’s has changed from desperation to talking matters into their own hands. A shift is taking place from the population being victims to people starting to become self-reliant. You are starting to see people working with local governments, their schools making sure classes can continue. There is lots of chaos around the country some jails are rioting and the economy is gone into a recession. Thousands of government employees are out on the street. Lots of bad stuff is happening but underneath it all there is something very palpable taking place. People are staring to realize that they cannot count on governments and politicians but they can start to relay on themselves, friends and neighbors. All kinds of Entrepreneurship is breaking out all over the country. There is an incredible sense of rawness and aliveness in the air. People are starting to wake up from the prior catatonic state of dependency. Something extraordinary is happening even with this quasi-urban war-taking place in the background. I wonder if a major transformation is happening, maybe this is beginning of the second coming of the United States.

Great series "Breaking Bad" How about Breaking Good

I loved the series Breaking Bad. I watched every episode with great detail in terms of the plots and dialogue. I  wondered why I was attracted to this ruthless, manipulative and mean character. My conclusion is that Walter White's life as a regular blow joe chemistry teacher with little power and little control over his life is the typical life most of us live. Going along with a bunch roles that do not work. A series of societal norms created by the powerful through out history to control the masses and rig the game in their favor.What do we do? we just follow them blindly with out questioning the why and  the what. All these lop sided rules slowly kill peoples humanity, creativity, hope, self belief, inner autonomy and the excitement of living.
The consequence is large amounts of the population is dead walking at different levels of the existence. Walter White decide not to go along with society's expectations of him and follow his own path. In the last episode he says he did all because it made him feel alive. Wow what a great line and revelation. In past episodes he had said that he had done it all for his family but in reality he did for himself for the sake of feeling alive. Now my question is: can you have the same feeling and experience by breaking good, following your own path in the opposite direction Walter White's took. Become a warrior for  what is right to the point of clashing with the establishment and becoming a Walter White of the new living model in which the game is fair, the planet is protected and individuality is sacred. I do not know, I wonder, cool to try it.

The new Matrix is coming not the movie but the living model.

The current living model is showing severe cracks. It works for very few and it is on collision course with nature. The destruction of the environment  is obvious and now very visible. The current Matrix is destroying most people and the environment so what is point of all this. Well the point is to keep the party going for that 0.5% of the population that is enjoying the current simulation. By the way this 0.5% is not concentrate in any particular religion, political ideology and economic belief it is about having it all and keeping the game going that works for them. They are Capitalist, Communist, socialist, Dictators and all religious backgrounds. They are the player and beneficiaries of the current game or paradigm. The only problem for them and their followers is that the game is over. The cracks are turning into Volcanoes. Look at the USA economy it has now turned into an empty shell of borrowing, collapsed infrastructure, deteriorating  education system and a highly corrupt political and judicial system. That is for starters then we have the Chinese polluting the world and creating  fake economic growth by building empty cities all to keep their  Communist party system in power. The party is starting to show their true colors as the inner corruption is now starting to be apparent- billionaire party members in the name of the equality and social justice. The game is over the new Matrix is starting to appear. Look around the new agents of change are now noticeable. Focus on these new clues and you will see the birth of new simulation system that is going to be more inclusive and enhancing for the Earth and for individuals living on this planet. Watch and be transparent.
