Machines better than humans?

In a ruthless world like ours would machines do a better job then us? The technology for gathering data and analyzed it is really becoming cutting edge. We can now measure our behaviors and most of human activities.Given us the opportunity to better differentiate between perception and facts while giving us a more accurate sense of our progress and what works and what does not. Machines are becoming more and more sophisticated, we are becoming more and more barbaric. So would machines do a better a job of managing this planet? I am confused and contemplating. But there is no doubt that machines are and will be a very important part of our future and the New global paradigm-W3.0

Global leaders in the dark

The global leadership is flying blind. They are pretending like they know. That is the global truth. What do we do? we go along pretending like we believe that they know what they are doing. It makes us feel safe giving them the keys to the globe and to our destines. It also covers up our lack of responsibility and our entertained passivity while the place goes down in flames. All that said I must give credit to those leaders that are taking us toward the black hole of destruction at least they are taking responsibility to lead. The big question is where are w?Please pass me the remote control-good night-W3

Is democracy over?

It seems like the world is being run by a series of small groups with very specific interest. As we look around this dynamic seems to playing in China, Latin America, Russia, the Arab countries, etc. But the real question is what is going on here in the United States? is our decline due to deterioration of our democracy? Is this country becoming like Russia, Latin America but done in a more sophisticated and masterful manner. Its seems that the US political system congress has become very parochial and subservient to interest groups. We are focusing only on the short term, about two years right on time for the election. The United States is slowly collapsing before our eyes. We need to have the vision and fortitude to create a shift paradigm in important areas like alternative energies, health(wellness/preventive/stop the junk food eating-obesity), living within our means(reduce our debt-stop taking easy and cheap chinese money), really focus on creativity and innovation through a different education and how about reforming our campaign laws so money is not the only factor determining the results-come on are we going to let the boat sink that easy? Too Big to fail-On HBO

I saw the movie version of the book "Too Big to Fail" written by Andrew Ross Sorkin. He is the editor of the Deal Book in The New York Times. The Book is a great. The movie was good. After watching the movie I realized how close we came to a financial collapse and further more how close we continue to be on the edge of the abyss. What is shocking to me is the fact
that "we the people" know very little of what is going on behind the scenes. We are kept distracted with great entertainment and beautiful stories. In the meantime there is another game being played that is not accessible to the majority. I think is very important for us uncover these underground games on which our lives depend on. Information is the currency of life lets take responsibility to really find out the truth behind the curtain. W3-time for the new global paradigm.

Information, Information and information

This world we live in is all about information, from our DNA all the way to money and political matters. Part of the greatest games we are played is keeping us in the dark concerning the real information needed to function in this world effectively and exercising our on power. In most aspects of everyday life we do not have access to the best nor the right information. This dynamic creates a tremendous advantage for small groups of people that are basically profiting from people's ignorance and lack of understanding how the game of life is played. I could mention some areas where this seems to be true: Finance, personal money related issues, politics, government, health, food, advertising, etc. I wonder what the world would be like if people had the right information. It would certainly make it harder for a housing/ financial crisis like the one we just had to take place. It would be difficult for Gaddafi, Castro,The Egyptian elites and the all these un inspiring and un evolved dictators and political parties to robe and destroy their countries. It would also make very difficult for politician in the US continue to pile up huge debts and spend our money recklessly. It would also be hard for corporations to miss treat it customers and charges excessive fees and on bills that one understands. I say let be information literature and create a transparent planet. I am doing it slowly. W3

World 3.0 at an individual scale

I have been thinking about lifestyles and the current global game that most of us are playing. It is a paradigm in which human happiness and contentment are almost impossible to reach by the rules on this game. Slowly we are starting to see the erosion of the boundaries of this game. A geopolitical example is the Arab nations. They are starting to say hey we are not playing anymore, we want to create another game in which we all can be included, be self expressive and test the boundaries of the old scenario. At other levels I see my friends starting to question their lives and what would it look like if they continue going down the old road. I always ask myself who invented this game? why? and who is benefits? I say we all have to become real life game developers as well as great character creators so we can reinvent ourselves. It is new global Game W3, play hard and reinvent harder.

The trend is just starting now

There is a global shift taking place in our planet, we better get ready so we are not caught unprepared. We can start to see it now with the Egyptian up rising. People are starting to wake up to new model of living. Technology is giving people the tools to communicate, share and organize for new way of being and doing life. It is going to be a 360 degree change. Our current system is not working for us nor for the planet. The shift is on, be careful not to be in denial. That is what I am working on, to stay vigilant, stay flexible for change and adapt. It is W3-World 3.0

The technology is the killer application for Democracy

Since humans seem not to able to create fair and transparency societies I guess technology will come to our rescue. I am excited to see the different platforms being created to help us communicate, work together and jump over all the old paradigm repressive and corrupt behaviors as well as backward thinking that is keeping many generation locked in dark hole for years, keeping creativity, progress and human evolution stagnated. As the world continues to be under these authoritarian systems- direct or indirectly, stealth or an obvious, here comes our creativity to the rescue us by building these platforms to bust through old walls and opening us to a new paradigm of living, Viva La technology.

The Egyptian Billionaire-Mubarak

According to CNN Hosni Mubarak's fortune is between $40 and $70 billion while the average Egyptian's income is $2,000 a year.
Well what a great gig, how about what the rest of his friends took. I propose a global campaign to have Mubarak and his gang return the money. We are talking about real estate in Rodeo Dr, London, NYC. Important stock holdings in Chilis, Vodaphone and
hyundai and others. Afterwards we can move on to others like Castro, Chavez, etc on and on. How long are people on in this planet put up these thieves-World 3.0

The egyptian Monster

I must say that I am shock to learn how much support we have given Mubarak through out the years while knowing all the atrocities being committed by his regime. I feel sad for the egyptian people but I feel sadder for us that we have participated in this crime. What does this complicity do to our soul as a nation and as people. I am shocked what we are willing to do for oil. Wow, time for a shift World 3.0

Who needs this

I heard a great quote that really made me think in a profound way. This statement was made by a Buddhist monk at the Bali summit on global warming in 2007. He said, "The challenge is to redesign the world: To design a more authentic, genuine and elegant world. Who needs this wasteful, stressful, congested, exploitative world where half humanity goes to bed hungry and the other half suffers from obesity. We can do better than this." His name is Samdhong Rinpoche. -W3.0

America's dreams

America has created great dreams: Man on the moon, civil rights, women’s rights, etc. Why can't we dream of a world free of fossil fuels and make it happen like all the other dreams. Let’s dream a country and world that is sustainable, non-toxic and where individual greatness is honored and respected. How’s that for a dream? Dream on, it’s all a story anyway, let’s create one that works. It is World 3.0

Fact or fiction

I always wonder what is more powerful, fact or fiction? or non-fiction versus fiction? Which one affects our lives the most. I have arrived at the conclusion that the effect is the same because most facts are fiction and most fiction is factual.

Burn down the paradigm

The real weapon to burn the current paradigm is creativity, yes creative destruction is the game. Replication, imitation and the sameness will never work. It is creative trashing of the old models, create, create, create-yes. World 3.0

Creativity is the power play of the future

Innovation and creativity are in the same league with transparency as the global killer applications. So we all need to reconnect with the wild, wacky, powerful, playful, non-heard, unique and authentic inner child to be able to succeed in the future. Operating from the stale imitator part of us will not make it. It is time to give ourselves permission to break through the old personal paradigm of compromise and let the child play -- create, reinvent and transform.

I am stopping imitation

I am trying a new personal experiment which is to stop imitating and start creating, designing and following my own guidance. Instead of asking, I am becoming my own source of reference. Eventually I would like to create a good percentage of what I do, produce and use. What a risk! I guess the only way to change the world is to redesign one’s life. W3.0

They do not know more than you

People in positions of authority do not know anything more than you do. Experts do not exist. We are making up the world as we go along. Question and create. World 3.0

What is more powerful, facts or fiction

I always wonder if facts and non-fiction are counterproductive. They stop the evolution of stories by cementing a way of doing something as the truth. On the other hand fiction keeps the stories of life liquid, in motion, transforming and creating new ways of being, doing and acting. Fiction permits us to expand beyond our limits and explore the unknown. I think it’s all one big make-believe. What is the difference between non-fiction and fiction? No difference-but non-fiction is stationary and cemented to a time in history and attached to certain mechanics; fiction is fluid, creative and ever-changing. Live in fiction, recreate your life, the world and this Paradigm. Yes World 3.0

Why do we love to be fooled

Why is it that we love not being told the truth. We accept living a mega lie and we know at a certain level that we are being taken and that the game is rigged. Yet we continue to act like it is not so. I am not curious about the what and the why of the people doing the covering up and the lying. I am very interested in the why of those of us being taken for a ride in many areas of life: finance, health, politics, education, energy, etc, etc. We cannot handle the truth. We cannot stand transparency, why?
We pretend that China does not censor its citizens, that it is not a violator of human rights and a cruel dictatorship; that Cuba is not run by two gangsters; that Venezuela is not run by a crazy destroyer and a corrupt dictator. That Russia is not a Mafia state and the US congress has not been bought by the top interest groups: Oil, insurance, banks, pharma, etc. How about you? Where do you and I stand in this whole game?
Transparency is the new killer application of the new global paradigm, World 3.0

I love the red Prada shoes the Pope wears

When the Pope last visited New York City, he lifted his robe to say hello to some of his followers. At that moment I realized what is that one thing I really like about the Pope and it is his red Prada shoes. They are symbolic of what is really behind the robes. It’s a different lifestyle than the one on the other side of the religious customs, the spiritual hats and the stories. It is very different. The Pope needs to figure out how to make sure that what is behind is the same that is visible. He cannot preach and tell people to wear PayLess and he wears the red Prada's. I would say he needs to tell everybody to wear designer shoes, cool clothing and stop covering it up. At this point I would not be surprised if we find out that the Pope actually works or had worked for Goldman Sachs.

Make the planet a nourishing and loving place to live. The heart is the real source of our actions and ideas. Let's really make quality of life and human nourishment the priority.

Respect nature. We are nature; it is our duty to respect, protect and learn from nature rather than conquer her.

The Inner Journey. The real revolution is our inner growth. As long as we do not reinvent our inner landscape, our outer reality will continue to be limited, stale and violent.

Live a holistic lifestyle. The mind, the heart, the spirit and the body are one interrelated organism.

Business to transform the world. Business is a very powerful force that must be used to transform the earth. Compassion, entrepreneurship, innovation and the Spirit are the core elements of this transformation. Business based on innovative chaos, taking risk, intuition, heart, synthesis, non-linear skills, a holistic approach, conservation, quality, cooperation and partnership are the focal points of a new business paradigm.

Use technology to unite people. Let's create technologies that bring us together and help us develop lives of greater quality. The Internet is a manifestation of our desire to be connected. We aspire to connect to each other and become whole.

The Media. Media must inform, uplift, educate, inspire and unite. Not manipulate, instill fear, and keep people from developing their inner greatness.

Individual versus the collective. The individual must become responsible for his or her well-being, inner journey and self-improvement. The government cannot do it. Let's empower our selves, hearts, and thoughts.

Government small and non-intrusive. The government is simply a traffic cop. The responsible individual is the engine of growth, order and prosperity.

High self-esteem is the most effective weapon against corruption. As human beings we must understand that we are all capable of creating the life we want. We do not have to take from others. The universe is an abundant system. Scarcity is an illusion.

We are what we eat/eating is a political act. If we eat junk, we become junk, we think junky ideas and we end up creating a world of junk. Let's eat quality food and become quality people.

Quality of life over superficial growth. Our economic growth must be based on the growth of the human spirit and the improvement of our lives. We need to change the measurement of our economic life and the meaning of the word "profits." Profits must include quality of life, personal growth and enjoyment.

Learning is a human right. Teaching people is a global duty; not having education available is a violation of human rights.

Role models are extraordinary people. We must admire real people that have created extraordinary lives, not people created by the media. Role models are essential for the development of our human potential.

Abundance and prosperity. The universe is abundant. We are abundant and limitless. We need to turn our minds and hearts toward our greatness, abundance and possibilities.

Consumption vs. quality of life. We cannot fill our emptiness by consuming. Consumption must have meaning and its consequences measured. We need nourishment, creativity, encouragement, playfulness and community - not more consumption.

Individual creativity, imagination and self-expression are sacred. Individual creativity must be respected, encouraged and protected. It is the only way out of our current broken paradigm.
